  3. Completing a Corrected Section

Once all the individual narratives' statuses have been changed to ‘Correction Complete’ in the Correcting Narrative Requirements process, the section can be changed to complete (the first of two section status changes). The Big Submitter for the Common Elements, while State Program Director for program-specific sections of the plan, change the status from ‘Section in Correction’ to ‘Section Correction Complete’.

This process is also accurate if a section is in Revision instead of Correction.

To complete a corrected section, do the following.

  1. Below the section title, select the '+' to expand the 'Change the status of this Section' box.
'Change the status of this Section' box is expanded and the option to change the section status is selected. This area of the page is selected in a green box.
  2. Select the option to 'Update the status to 'Section Correction Complete'' (or 'Section in Revision Complete' if applicable).
  3. Select ‘Make this Change.’ A confirmation message is displayed, confirming the status change.

⚠️ Updating the status of the section to ‘Section Correction Complete’ sends a notification to the Big Submitter for your state. It does not send for federal review.

Follow the steps for Resubmitting Sections once you have marked your corrected section complete.
