b. 4. Describe How the State Will Implement and Monitor the Priority for Public Assistance Recipients, Other Low-income Individuals, and Individuals Who Are Basic Skills Deficient in Accordance with the Requirements of WIOA Sec. 134(c)(3)(e), Which Applies to Individualized Career Services and Training Services Funding by the Adult Formula Program.
Current Narrative:
Implementation of the priority for public assistance recipients, other low–income individuals, and individuals who are basic skills deficient will be done at the local level. The state requires each LWDB to describe in its local plan, its locally–established policies and procedures to give priority to the individuals described here. The results of these efforts are monitored and evaluated at the state level through the review and evaluation of participant files in the state’s MIS and physical documentation.
