Current Narrative:
The Michigan Works! Service Center staff have access to the Michigan Integrated Data Automated System, which is an electronic data reporting system used by the Unemployment Insurance.
Assistance can be provided at the local level to assist Unemployment Insurance and Workforce Development customers to navigate the system. As the Unemployment Insurance and Workforce Development collaborate on more programs, weekly conference calls with Michigan Department of Technology Management and Budget will be scheduled to work through program developments and communication issues. Our collaboration efforts have been recognized. The Workforce Development, the Unemployment Insurance and the Department of Technology Management and Budget were awarded the 2015 Michigan Excellence in Technology award for Best Information Technology Collaboration.
