e. 4. A. Collaboration
Current Narrative:
The memorandum of understanding previously described will establish a basis for collaboration between LWDBs and FCDP local projects statewide. Local FCDP providers will continue to establish memorandums of understanding with their local LWDB(s).
As part of a strategic initiative to increase collaboration and co–enrollments with FCDP local providers, the State Monitor Advocate and FCDP state staff have been facilitating onsite meetings with local WIOA program staff, case managers, office managers, outreach staff and local FCDP coordinators. These meetings generally take place during the State Monitor Advocate’s onsite monitoring visits.
These efforts are further enhanced by plans to incorporate the online FCDP database into EFM. Beginning October 1, 2016, local FCDP providers will have staff accounts in the EFM system. FCDP will have their own program module within EFM to document intake, enrollment, services, and outcomes. They will also be able to view WP services provided to customers. This will maximize a seamless service delivery to MSFW customers by career centers and FCDP. It will also ease the data sharing process to ensure that services are not duplicated.
