  3. Viewing Corresponding Narratives from Previous Plan Years

When you are viewing a narrative in your current state plan, you can view the corresponding narrative from each previously published plan year, starting with the 2020-2023 plan year, all the way to Plan Year 2016-2017.

To view the corresponding narrative from a previous plan year, do the following.

  1. Open the narrative you want to review.

  2. In the narrative content view, select the link ‘View Corresponding narrative from PYs [year dates].’ This link is located above the current narrative text.

  1. Note the state plan name at the top of the page now displays the previously published plan name and date. Review the content. You can return to your current plan by using your browser’s back button.

  1. To continue navigating backwards through plans, you can select the link ‘View Corresponding narrative from PYs [year dates].’ You can return to your current plan by using your browser’s back button.

Note the state plan name and year displays the plan you’re currently viewing at the top of any plan, section, or narrative page.

To compare modifications you’ve made since the plan was previously published in a side-by-side view, follow the steps in the Compare Changes job aid.
