Applicants and recipients of the TANF Program are granted appeal rights from decisions they deem to be adverse. When a hearing is requested within ten days after the receipt of an adverse notice, the TANF benefits are not continued unless the recipient specifically requests in writing that they be paid pending the hearing decision.
