DVR currently has approximately 250 full time equivalencies (FTEs) classified in the following personnel categories:
- Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors: 105.5
- Orientation & Mobility/Vision Rehabilitation Therapists: 11.5
- Assistive Technology Specialists: 2
- Rehabilitation Technicians: 11
- Business Outreach Specialists: 9
- Administrative Assistants: 33
- Program Assistants: 9
- District and Regional Supervisors/Managers: 23
- Business Enterprise Program Professionals: 5
- Central Office Managerial and Infrastructure Staff: 34
Across the state, counselors currently average an active caseload (in applicant and all active statuses) of 84 clients, including students with disabilities who are potentially eligible for vocational rehabilitation services and are currently seeking pre-employment transition services only. The ratio of vocational rehabilitation counselors to field support staff, including both rehabilitation technicians and administrative assistants is approximately 2.6 to 1.
