Current Narrative:
Attendance at yearly conferences such as the Small Farm Conference gives the opportunity for the SMA and Business Services staff to speak with employers about services offered through the Agricultural Recruitment System. Partnerships with the Farm Bureau and WVU Extension offers us the ability to provide information to agricultural employers who may not be aware of using the Agricultural Recruitment System for finding workers. The WorkForce West Virginia website also provides information to agricultural employers on finding workers for their farms and agribusinesses.
