Current Narrative:
VR has continued to serve all eligible individuals who were receiving services under an approved IPE prior to implementation of the order of selection on August 1, 2017, and some of those individuals remain in services to date. Based on review of data on the number of individuals served in each category in FFY21, the number of individuals projected to be served in each priority category in FFY22 and FFY23, as well as the number of individuals projected to achieve their vocational outcomes based on current employment rate, are as follows:
FFY22
- Priority category 1: 10,600 Individuals with a Most Significant Disability (MSD) are projected to be served.
- 5,300 individuals with a MSD will achieve their employment goals
- Priority category 2: 2,400 individuals with a Significant Disability (SD) are projected to be served.
- 1,200 individuals with a SD will achieve their employment goals
- Priority category 3: 20 individuals with a Non-Significant Disability (NSD) are projected to be served. This number represents individuals who had an IPE in place prior to implementation of the Order of Selection.
- 10 individuals with a NSD will achieve their employment goals
FFY23
- Priority category 1: 10,600 Individuals with a Most Significant Disability (MSD) are projected to be served.
- 5,300 individuals with a MSD will achieve their employment goals
- Priority category 2: 3,400 individuals with a Significant Disability (SD) are projected to be served.
- 1,700 individuals with a SD will achieve their employment goals
- Priority category 3: 10 individuals with a Non-Significant Disability (NSD) are projected to be served. This number represents individuals who had an IPE in place prior to implementation of the Order of Selection.
- 5 individuals with a NSD will achieve their employment goals
