Current Narrative:
State Use Program: BRS has assigned a designee to represent DDRS/VR on the Indiana State Use Committee, also known as the Ability Indiana Committee. The Committee continues to meet quarterly to review services, products, and employment data while monitoring new initiatives by providers. The Indiana Association of Rehabilitation Facilities (INARF) manages the program and acts in a liaison capacity to facilitate contracts with Certified Ability Indiana Organizations and the Indiana Department of Administration. INARF provided an overview of the State Use Program, known as Ability Indiana, to the Commission on Rehabilitation Services in 2019 to provide an educational opportunity and increase awareness of this program.
