<p>The Idaho Department of Labor, through both W-P and UI staff and its automated systems, has continuously supported and administered the work test for the State unemployment compensation system and will continue to do so, including providing general eligibility assessments, referral to UI adjudication, if needed, and providing job finding and placement services for UI claimants.</p>

<p>IDOL Wagner Peyser staff are familiar with UI eligibility requirements and do eligibility assessments and referral to adjudication as required and appropriate for RESEA participants. In 2021 a more rigorous work test process was implemented where most RESEA participants are given a job referral and follow up is done with the employer to verify the application was made and determine hire status when possible. Issues detected through RESEA interviews, work test, or other interactions with UI claimants are referred to adjudication.</p>
