a. 3. Describe strategies developed to support training and awareness across core programs and the Unemployment Insurance (UI) program and the training provided for Employment Services and WIOA staff on identification of UI eligibility issues and referral to UI staff for adjudication
Current Narrative:
The UI program leadership attends quarterly meetings with Employment Services (ES) and WIOA regional operations staff to share information and trouble shoot issues occurring in the WorkOnes with UI claimants. The UI program also offers an annual training webinar for ES and WIOA front line staff to provide an overview of the UI systems and any changes or updates. The recording of the webinar is available to new staff as they come onboard throughout the year. A Frequently Asked Questions document has been developed to assist ES and WIOA front line staff. Additionally, all RESEA staff are provided training annually on how to spot potential issues that would require adjudication through activities such as work search.
